10/100/1000 Media Converters

Perle 10/100/1000 Media Converters transparently connect 10Mbps, 100Mbps, or 1G copper to multimode or single mode fiber. The media converter will automatically detect if the copper port speed is 10Mbps, 100Mbps, or 1G and convert the data rate if the fiber port speed is different. This is ideal where different networks need to be connected, for example, linking a Fast Ethernet Copper network to a Gigabit Fiber network. And, your investment is protected because as you upgrade the speed of your copper network, you won't need to upgrade your media converter.
