10/100/1000/2500/10G Ethernet Media Converters

Perle 10G Media Converters transparently connect 10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1G, 2.5G, or 10G Ethernet to multimode or single mode fiber. Each Media Converter comes with one or two pluggable SFP transceiver slots that support fiber to fiber, copper to fiber, or copper to copper media conversion. The media converter will also automatically detect if the port speed is 10Mbps, 100Mbps, 1G, 2.5G, or 10G and convert the data rate if the second port speed is different. This is ideal where different networks need to be connected, for example, linking a Fast Ethernet Copper network to a 10 Gigabit Fiber network. And, your investment is protected because as you upgrade the speed of your network, you won't need to upgrade your media converter.
