Perle Industrial Ethernet Extenders enable the transmission of 10Mbps, 100Mbps, or 1G Ethernet data beyond 100m (328ft) -- the general maximum cable length for copper Ethernet cables -- in extreme temperatures. This is achieved by using advanced VDSL technology to transmit over single twisted pair (CAT5/6/7/8), coax, or any existing copper wiring previously used in alarm circuits, E1/T1 circuits, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, CCTV or CATV applications. They are ideal for extending the distance of copper devices such as security cameras, wireless access points, alarms, traffic controllers, sensors and tracking devices found in traffic management, oil and gas pipelines, weather tracking, industrial and outdoor applications
