Perle Systems Introduces New IOLAN I/O Device Servers
Perle IOLAN I/O Device Servers offer comprehensive access and control of remote digital I/O, analog I/O, relays and temperature sensors over Ethernet
NASHVILLE, TN - November 8, 2006 — Today, over 1 billion I/O devices require Ethernet connectivity for companies to operate efficiently. According to the FocalPoint Group, LLC, that need will grow to over 1 Trillion devices by 2010. Perle Systems has launched a new line of IOLAN I/O Device Servers with the ability to monitor environmental alarms, intrusion detection, relay contact closures and equipment failure over Ethernet. Through remote administrator or application control, opening and closing of integrated relay contacts or activation of digital output signals can be incorporated into any response of a critical event.
