Perle Systems Announces Online Demo

Visitors to Perle site experience firsthand the ease of use and high functionality of IOLAN SCS line via live demo

NASHVILLE, TN - June 20, 2007 — Perle Systems, the global developer and manufacturer of serial to Ethernet connectivity solutions announced today the availability of an online demo of their IOLAN SCS Console Server. The IOLAN SCS which is known for reliability and advanced security is used worldwide to perform secure remote data center management and out-of-band management of IT assets.

“This live online demo allows visitors to our site to test drive an IOLAN SCS. It is a powerful hands-on method for them to realize both the ease with which our products work and the advanced technology of the IOLAN SCS extensive feature set. Accessed from anywhere via the web, the participant can remotely manage a Cisco Router, Perle’s own Remote AC Power Switch, a local RS232 loopback plug and a Windows 2003 server with EMS– all with a click of their mouse,” comments Julie McDaniel, Vice President of Marketing for Perle Systems. She adds, “This equipment is located in Perle’s Canadian office in Toronto.

This online demo availability comes shortly after the release of Perle’s Remote Power Switch along with several new features for the complete IOLAN product line. These features include Multihosting, Dual Network Access Mode and Perle’s unique Redundant Path Technology.
